Description:
The design allows independent flexion and extension of single or multiple fingers.
The artificial tendons are almost invisibly encapsulated inside the splint.
The compact drives under the cover are fine motorised and individually adjustable.
For a perfect fit, each glove is handmade individually for each patient.
The splint, which is also custom-made, stabilises the forearm and metacarpus without being bulky.
The intuitive control of the orthosis is done via impulses from an active muscle.
The control of the preselected grip pattern pairs is done via impulses of an active muscle. The control unit allows patient-specific adjustment of the control, as well as pre-selection of the grip patterns.
