Description:
Vitalograph copd-6 is a digital airway screener that determines the obstruction index and FEV1/FEV6 and thus specifically detects potential obstructive illnesses such as COPD and asthma. For this screening, no time-consuming and therefore costly spirometry examinations need to be carried out in the general practice.
Regular peak flow measurements help to recognize even small changes in the condition of the lungs, to find the optimal medication setting, to recognize environmental factors as the cause of bronchial obstruction and to distinguish psychogenic shortness of breath from "real" bronchial constriction.
