The positive pressure inhalation device Aerolife 2 supplies air at increased pressure to the airways during intermittent ventilation with positive pressure during inspiration. This results in positive effects such as prevention or improvement of atelectasis, mechanical dilatation of the bronchi and lungs. IPPB therapy helps patients with impaired or restricted breathing to achieve regular deep ventilation. The inspiratory oxygen supply can be variably adjusted for clinical respiratory therapy. With a weight of 5.3 kg, the device is suitable for mobile use.
