Indications:
- Severe lumboischialgia with muscular deficits with significant disc protrusion/prolapse
- Severe, radicular, pseudo-radicular lumbar syndrome (resistant to conservative treatment)
- Grade II spondylolisthesis or with recurrent lumboischialgia
- Severe lumbar deformity with facet syndrome/arthrosis
- Condition after thoracic spine surgery without remaining paresis with cleared thoracic spine:
Spinal canal decompression single-day without deformity
Thoracic spine surgery single-day
- Spinal canal stenosis with short walking distance without significant paresis
- Post-traumatic vertebral fractures of minor extent
- Pathological fractures, e.g. plasmacytoma-threatening fractures
Contraindications:
The application and wearing of such an aid may be contraindicated in the following clinical pictures:
- Skin disease/injury in the treated area of the body
- Inflammatory conditions, raised scars with swelling, redness and overheating
- sensory disturbances
- Greater restriction of cardiopulmonary performance
- Risk of an increase in blood pressure with the aid in place and increased physical exertion
