Description:
Mastic asphalt is typically delivered to the construction site by truck and mastic asphalt cooker. The hot mixture (220-260°C) is usually transported to the installation site by hand using a carrying yoke and two wooden buckets, which weigh a total of approximately 55-60 kg. In some cases, wheelbarrows are used. This transport places considerable strain on the musculoskeletal system.
A crane-mounted asphalt cooker with agitator and separate heat supply can significantly reduce these strains by reducing the lifting and carrying work. This minimizes physical strain and reduces the time required for transport.
