Description:
ReMoD V5 is a medical device that helps people with neurological posture and gait problems to improve their posture and movement control while wearing it.
The vest replaces impaired or missing endogenous signals with artificial signals that are perceived via the skin. When the vest registers a deviation from a fixed ideal posture, it sends electro-tactile signals to the surface of the skin in real time. This enables them to recognize posture and movement errors. This information is both a prerequisite and the basis for any independent movement correction.
ReMoD V5 can be used when walking, sitting and standing.
