• The SmartVision 3 is a smartphone developed specifically for the target group with both a touch screen and a normal keyboard. It is the successor to the SmartVision 2.
• The innovations in version 3 are:
• Android 11 operating system
• memory up to 192 GB
• dual SIM for two SIM cards
• improved keyboard
• wireless charger
• Two versions of the SmartVision 3 are available: Initium and Omni. In addition to those two versions, the Initium version can be expanded as desired with three 'packs': Expert, Agile and Efficient.
• The keys have been placed further apart and made extra tactile. Above the number pad is a joystick-style key arrangement for quick navigation.
• Speech reproduction and speech recognition are available in Dutch or Flemish.
• The speech recognition can be used for, among other things, calling a contact person, requesting the battery level and dictating a text message or e-mail.
• The screen can be discovered tactilely thanks to the pronunciation of what is touched.
• The magnification (MagniText), contrast and scrolling speed are individually adjustable.
• More than thirty shortcut keys are provided.
• A wireless keyboard or braille keyboard can be connected via bluetooth.
• Two cameras and a flash are provided on the back for taking pictures with sufficient light for text recognition, among other things.
• There is also a camera (5 MP) on the front.
• The apps/functions are installed in a modified version: phone calls, SMS, address book, e-mail, internet, memo recorder, calendar, alarm clock, calculator, notepad, light and color detector, media player, camera, FM radio and web radio.
• The Omni version has three additional functions compared to the Initium version: the Kapten GPS pedestrian navigation, reading of printed and electronic text and wireless charging.
• The GPS function is fully accessible and guides the user from point to point and has a where am I function.
• The reading of printed text takes place after taking a photo of the text on paper.
• The built-in e-book reader can read the following formats: daisy, ePUB, pdf, Word, txt, html and xml.
• In addition to the included apps, the user can install apps such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Skype and Twitter.
• An emergency button (SOS) and NFC technology (payments and tagged object detection) are provided.
• There is a fingerprint sensor on the back for quick and secure access to your smartphone.
• The touch screen has a diagonal of 3.5 inches (8.9 cm).
