Description:
The artificial eye is used for rehabilitation in the event of loss of a visual organ due to an accident, illness or from birth.
These eye epitheses are made exclusively in silicone by the Roschmann company. The necessary glass eye cup is made by an ocularist and not an epithetist. The color and shape of the epithesis is made according to the normal anatomy and covers the facial defect cosmetically.
Since everything is custom-made, a brief overview can only be given using examples. Pictures 1 and 2 show finished eye epitheses.
