Contraindications:
The application and wearing of such assistive products may be contraindicated in the following clinical pictures:
- Skin diseases/injuries in the treated body part, especially with inflammatory symptoms
- In the case of raised scars with swelling, redness and overheating
- Sensory disorders
- Severe restriction of cardiopulmonary performance
- Risk of an increase in blood pressure with the assistive products in place and increased physical exertion
Description:
The orthosis straightens the thoracic spine through the support bar incorporated in the back section in conjunction with the inelastic shoulder straps, thereby reducing hyperkyphosis. In addition, a dynamic limitation of movement is achieved in the affected area. In the event of tension following severe hunchback strain and isolated osteoporotic fractures of the thoracic spine, the orthosis offers the option of using an orthosis that is limited to the thoracic spine but can be extended at any time.
