Description:
Elemento is an electrically powered, gravity-reducing arm assist device. The assistive products provides users with limited muscle strength and condition the support they need to move their upper extremities.
Elemento compensates for more than 100% of arm weight with a spring compensation system. The user can smoothly adjust the spring force and thus the level of support. The assistive products follows the user's natural movements in a three-dimensional radius of action. The user performs the movements independently. The arm support also improves the ability to balance.
The Elemento supports users with very limited arm mobility in performing everyday activities independently.
When mounted on a wheelchair, Elemento is mounted over the wheel of the wheelchair. The arm support has a narrow design and requires a small amount of additional space. This space-saving design does not obstruct the person in the wheelchair in doorways and narrow passageways.
