Description:
3D printing, also known as additive manufacturing, is a
digital manufacturing process in which material is applied layer by layer to create three-dimensional objects.
The three-dimensional printing process can also be used to customize assistive products based on the DIY (do it yourself) principle, such as cup holders, plate rim raisers, one-handed scissors, protective masks or prosthetic hands.
The files with the 3D designs, some of which are offered for download by the suppliers, can be used on any 3D printer.
