Additional information:
• The Webbox3 is the successor to the Webbox2 and is an online voice recorder with voice TV captions. A monthly subscription fee of 5.95 euros is required for the basic offer including the voice TV subtitles.
• The Webbox3 does not have a built-in CD player and gets all its information via an internet connection. Optional, an external CD player is available.
• The operation is consciously kept very simple and is ideal for beginners and seniors. With one large dial and four pushbuttons with tactile symbols, the Webbox3 is operated. The menus are pronounced, you must only confirm the choice you made.
• The Webbox3 is now equipped with a rechargeable battery and, due to its more compact design, it is easier to handle than its predecessors.
• Compared to the Webbox2, there are some improvements: better speaker, side-side, z / w screen for better contrast and prepared for 3G / 4G mobile internet.
• For Flemish and Dutch newspapers, you must subscribe to Passend Read (NL) or Anderslezen.be (BE).
• In the Netherlands regional news and association news is available via the Webbox3. The Flemish offer includes information from various provinces and associations. The Dutch offer is broader than the Flemish offer, as the Webbox is of Dutch origin.
• For the Netherlands, spoken TV subtitles are available for Ned.1, 2, 3, RTL4, 5, 7 and 8, RTL Z, SBS6 and 9, NET5 and Veronica. For Flanders, there are VRT, Canvas, VTM, Q2, Four, Five, CAZ and Vitaya.
• A selection of Dutch and Flemish websites can be read.
• E-mails can be received and read. Sending e-mails is not (yet).
• In addition to the volume level, the read-out speed and pitch (sharpness) are adjustable.
