Description
- GuideConnect provides an accessible and highly simplified use of e-mail, internet and entertainment. This is achieved through magnification, contrast enhancement and speech reproduction.
- There are two versions of GuideConnect: a Windows 10 version for PC, laptop or tablet on the one hand and a special version that can be connected to a television screen on the other.
- The special version for television consists of a 'box' (set-top box) that is connected to the TV, a wireless mouse, a wireless keyboard and a remote control.
- The Windows 10 version is optionally installed on a desktop computer, a laptop or a tablet.
- The user is shown a simplified menu with large and contrast-rich letters and numbers, which also reads what appears on the screen.
- GuideConnect is used for e-mails, writing or dictating texts, listening to audio books and newspapers, searching on the internet, listening to internet radio stations, having printed texts (letters) read aloud, agenda use and creating an address book with telephone numbers.
- The user interface (menus) and the speech display are available in Dutch.
