The book reader supports many formats: DAISY 2.02 and 3.0, AA/AAX from Audible, EPUB 2.0.1 (unprotected) and books from NLS and Bookshare.
You can load your books onto your Milestone via USB from your computer (PC or Mac) and listen to them on the go. The internal storage space of 2.5 GB (good for 80 hours of listening pleasure) can even be expanded to 32 GB with an SD card in SDHC format.
Optional: WIFI access to all your documents.
You can place bookmarks in the books and you can adjust the reading speed as desired.
With the integrated speech synthesizer from Acapela you can also play regular text files: texts in doc and txt format can be listened to in clear, natural speech.
The Milestone 212 Ace also serves as a dictaphone. At the touch of a button, the device is immediately ready to record.
You can also listen to your music collection on the go with this Milestone. The Milestone 212 Ace supports MP3, AAC, WMA, WAV, MP4, M4A and even the audio track of files in M4V format.

The rechargeable batteries can be charged via a built-in adapter.
The 212 Ace WiFi offers easy access to your online Daisy library and is a simplified version of the 312 Ace WiFi.

The difference with the Milestone 312 is that the Milestone 212 Ace is easier to operate and can be expanded to a limited extent with extra functions.
