- The b.note 20 is a compact braille display with 20 eight-dot cells and a braille keyboard.
- The surface under the Braille cells is flat, like Braille paper.
- Each Braille cell is provided with one cursor routing key with two functions. This makes it possible to navigate in the text while keeping the hands on the braille cell.
- Surrounding the 20 Braille cells is a Braille keyboard and two groups of four keys (menu).
- The b.note can be controlled by compatible screen readers such as NVDA, Jaws, Supernova, VoiceOver and TalkBack.
- The built-in speech synthesis can read texts aloud.
- The b.note is equipped with WiFi and Bluetooth. This makes it possible to connect to a computer, tablet or smartphone.
- With the built-in text editor (simple word processor) notes can be made via the braille keyboard that can be forwarded to a peripheral device.
