Functionality
With this app you add a calculator to your iPad or an alternative for the original iPhone Calculator. The great thing about this app is that speech output is built in as standard. Every keystroke and the calculated results are spoken in an American voice. However, you can replace that voice with your own voice. You will then have to make the effort to speak all the labels yourself. But afterwards you have a Dutch-speaking calculator!
Functionally, this is a regular basic calculator that you can transform into a calculator with somewhat more extensive functions via the settings. If you want a full scientific calculator, the same developer offers the 'Talking Scientific Calculator' for € 4.49.
Accessibility
The accessibility is at a high level thanks to the built-in American speech that you can then also translate into Dutch yourself. The app also works great with VoiceOver, for even more spoken support. Visually impaired users are pampered by Talking Calculator with a very nice high-contrast display.
