Description:
A microtome is a cutting device used to create very thin section preparations. It is used to produce microscopic preparations which are later to be radiographed. Microtomes are mainly used for soft materials and materials such as those used in medicine and biology, as well as for the analysis of plastics. The fully automatic rotary microtome facilitates the cutting process.
