Indications:
- all neurological indications of the lower extremities
- incomplete paraplegia (lesion height between L1 and L5) with very little or no spasticity
- poliomyelitis or Polio
- Post-Polio-Syndrome
- Symptoms of paralysis

Contraindications:
- Moderate to severe spasticity
- Difference in leg length of over 15 cm
- Knee cast malalignment of over 10 degrees
- Flexion contracture in the knee or hip joint of over 10 degrees

Description:
The computer-controlled leg orthosis C-Brace ensures more freedom of movement. The C-Brace consists of individually manufactured thigh, lower leg and foot sections. An ankle joint or an individual spring element connects the foot part with the lower leg part. The sensors continuously measure knee flexion and knee angle acceleration. The C-Brace recognizes in which phase of walking the user is. It can regulate the hydraulic resistance and control the flexion and extension of the knee.
