Columns and text blocks are recognized, put in order then read out normally. An anti-skew correction feature aligns the text into easy to read straight lines if the paper is at an angle. All the text recognition is processed within the device, there is no need for Mercury to be connected to the internet and all speech is in clear English accents in a male or female voice.
