Description:
Lympha Press devices are therapeutic devices for intermittent pneumatic compression, IPC for short. They enable effective and gentle therapy of lymphedema, lipedema and traumatic edema, venous congestion and ulcers. They can also be used for thrombosis prophylaxis.
In justified cases, the apparative intermittent compression can be prescribed by the physician as a home therapy device. It is a recognized assistive products, which is provided to the patient by the health insurances after application for lifetime.
The devices are 12-chamber systems that intermittently and sequentially generate smoothly adjustable pressure in arm cuffs, boot cuffs, hip cuffs and also in trouser cuffs. The pressure is adjustable between 20 and 80 mmHg, with clinical devices also up to 180 mmHg.The cuffs available for Lympha Press are available in over 40 different sizes, each of which is again triple adjustable in size.
