Description:
Phlebo Press devices are therapy devices for intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC). They are used to decongest venous oedema. Deep vein thrombosis can be the cause of a pulmonary embolism or a stroke, which are life-threatening events.
Thrombosis prophylaxis is essential for immobile patients, after or during operations. DVT stands for Deep Vein Thrombosis.
