Product Type:
Mobile manhole cover lifter
Areas of Application:
for example to relieve the musculoskeletal system
Description:
For maintenance and inspection work on manholes, pipelines and street drains, manhole covers and inlet gratings, which weigh between about 50 and 100 kg depending on the class, have to be opened by hand. A mobile manhole cover lifter can be used as an important alternative to the heavily back-burdening method of opening manhole covers or inlet gratings with picks, pry keys or manually.
The leverage of the manhole cover opener loosens stuck manhole covers with little effort. Strains on the spine caused by jerky movements are avoided. A strongly stooped posture with high weights during the loosening and lifting of the manhole cover is reduced. Due to the large leverage effect and the traversability of the device, lifting, transporting in an upright body posture and setting down manhole covers and inlet grates are possible without major exertion. Overall, the use of the manhole cover lifter relieves the lumbar spine and the hand-arm system.
The manhole covers or inlet gratings are held and can be moved by means of lifting claws that grip inwards or outwards and are operated by means of a cable pull.
In this model, the set consists of 2 individual devices that can be separated from each other, so that the additional lifting device can also be omitted and the G 2000 can be used on its own, for example in rough terrain.
