Description:
Lightweight platform ladders in accordance with DIN-EN 131 1-3 can be climbed on one side. They have handrails on both stiles of the climbing leg, starting from the 5th step, which ensure safe holding during ascent and descent. There is a satisfactory standing area (platform, at least 360 x 360 mm) for the hazardous assembly work. The usable standing height of the lightweight platform ladder is limited to a maximum of 6 steps (including the platform). The total length of the folded ladder is max. 2,750 mm. The total weight of the 6-step lightweight platform ladder must not exceed 15 kg. Lightweight platform ladders preferably have a tension-proof spreading safety device as well as a locking device through the foldable platform.
