Description:
A small glucose sensor is inserted painlessly into the subcutaneous fatty tissue and can be worn for up to six days. It is connected directly to the MiniLink REAL-Time transmitter. The transmitter, about the size of a 2-euro coin, transmits glucose values wirelessly to the monitor of the Guardian REAL-Time system. The glucose value is sent via the connected transmitter to the Guardian Connect app on the smartphone via Bluetooth and displayed there.
