Description:
The Harlekin is a variable positioning and functional wedge that has been specially developed for the needs-based positioning of children with severe disabilities or learning difficulties. It is primarily used in early intervention and serves as a corrective positioning aid, individually adapted to the child's needs.
The Harlekin enables various positions such as prone, supine and lateral positions as well as a sitting position for feeding, playing or night-time positioning. The high-contrast colors also appeal to children with sensory impairments. The system consists of foam elements and washable artificial leather, with removable parts fixed in place with Velcro and fleece straps. There are 15 modules, and special designs are also possible.
