Contraindications:
The application and wearing of such an aid may be contraindicated in the following clinical pictures:
- Skin diseases/injuries in the treated area of the body, especially in the case of inflammatory conditions
- raised scars with swelling, redness and overheating
- sensory disturbances
- Greater restriction of cardiopulmonary performance
- Risk of an increase in blood pressure when the orthosis is worn and physical exertion is increased
Description:
The orthosis stabilizes and relieves the spine from the iliac crest to the thorax. A plastic element supports the lumbar spine, while a support bar straightens the thoracic spine and reduces hyperkyphosis. Pain reduction and mobilization together with physiotherapy promote the back muscles and improve posture.
