Description:
Hearing implants consist of the implant and a receiver (sound processor).
The Ponto 3 sound processor picks up sound waves and converts them into acoustic vibrations that are transmitted through the skull bone. During transmission, the damaged areas of the outer and middle ear are bypassed. The sound processor is connected to the implant with an abutment.
