Description:
Hearing implants consist of the implant and a receiver (sound processor). The Esteem implant is fully implantable so that the entire technology is hidden under the skin. The hearing aid amplifies the sound picked up through the skin via the implanted sound processor and transmits it directly to the middle ear, which is connected to the implant.
