Description:
The Rehab Slide enables people with mobility impairments to practise safe transfers from the wheelchair to the car or other seating under professional guidance. Due to its compact and stable design, the device can be used in many places.
The doors of the Reha-Slide can be opened sideways like a car, simulating the opening angle normally available. The stable frame corresponds to the height of an average car chassis and provides the corresponding headroom and seat height. Reha-Slide can be used from both the left and right due to the slide boards. These are folded down to the side and are immediately available. The wheelchair is positioned as close as possible to the sliding board and secured with brakes, after which the transfer can be carried out without a gap between the wheelchair and the seat. The height and length of the steering wheel can be individually adjusted to suit the patient and can be used to assist with the transfer.
