Description:
Arm support can also be used as an ergonomic assistive products for people at risk of overuse or severe fatigue.
Depending on the type of disability, arm support can reduce the effects of excessive muscle function by redirecting uncoordinated movements (tremors).
Dowing also absorbs pressure and weight from the arm and shoulder, potentially reducing shoulder pain.
Arm support can be applied on one or both sides.
The arm support can be attached to a table or work chair, for example. Specific mounting brackets are available for this purpose.
The assistive products adds strength when moving the human arm in a vertical direction. However, no more strength is added than is required.
The arm support only provides support as needed. To ensure that just the right amount of support is provided, the strength can be easily adjusted with the adjustment knob.
The large horizontal movements require little effort. The design makes it easier to guide the hand to the mouth and face, and makes tasks in the workplace easier to perform.
