Edge filter goggles
Description:
Edge filter goggles are worn when there is increased sensitivity to glare - over normal glasses if necessary - to reduce glare. Edge filters absorb parts of the visible light that have a negative effect on visual performance.
Edge filter glasses can be combined with polarizing lenses (e.g. for epilepsy).
Features / components:
- 100 percent UV protection and very high blue light absorption
- roadworthy according to DIN EN ISO 12312-1 (not suitable for night driving)
- improved contrast vision and minimization of glare by blocking UV light and short-wave, high-energy light components
- available in the self-tinting version active, in the tints 15 percent, 65 percent, 85 percent, polarizing 75 percent and graduated 50-15 percent, suitable for indoor and outdoor use
- the self-tinting ambelis active lenses protect the eye in any light
- ventilation slits to prevent fogging between the temples and the middle section
- available in various frame models and sizes or as a front hanger
- also available as an XL frame to wear over your head also available as XL frames to put on over your own prescription frame (special anti-glare frames with extra deep frame rim at the top and wide temples with side windows)
