Description:
The ifm mate assistance system supports manual activities in production or at packaging workstations. Using an optical 2D/3D camera, it identifies the hands of the person working and thus recognizes whether or not a box has been reached into, for example. Hand recognition, which is based on powerful deep learning technology, is a central component of the system. Right- or left-handedness or the position of the hand is irrelevant for recognition.
Ifm mate shows all relevant information on the current process flow on the display:
a) Work instructions for the respective work step (document/image/video)
b) Completed work step
c) Next work step
d) Next work step
e) Labeling of the gripping area
