• The Envision Glasses are reading glasses with AI (ally) that are available in three versions: the Read, Home and Pro edition. All three are designed as a lightweight spectacle frame. A small camera, a screen, a rechargeable battery, a computer and a speaker are mounted on the spectacle frame.
• The Read version has three options for reading printed and handwritten texts: read text directly, scan text and batch scan.
• The Home version also has the following functions: call a companion, describe a scene, detect light, recognize money, detect colors, find people, find objects and learn & recognize a face.
• The Pro edition also has a lifetime subscription to all updates, has a two-year warranty instead of one year, has a luxury spectacle frame and gets priority in customer service.
• With soft swipe movements over the side of the glasses you can navigate through the spoken menus for operation. • Double-tap to select an option and then let the Envision Glasses read, detect or describe something. You can also ask the glasses questions, for example, to get more detail; that is the AI function.
• You can keep the Envision Glasses on your nose all day. The system is very light and resistant to water and dust. Charging is done with a USB-C connection.
• To use AI functions, an internet connection is required and this is done via a smartphone.
• The Envision Glasses guide the user in taking a photo, which is then processed online or offline. Privacy settings are adjustable and the glasses can not only read text, but also describe associated images and graphs.
• The ally function (AI) allows the user to ask questions about the text or images that are analyzed. For example, when reading a menu, you can ask the glasses if there is a dish with chicken. This offers a lot of potential for targeted information search, with the AI filtering what is relevant for the user. • The AI technology can be personalized based on the user's preferences. You can specify how you want the AI assistant to describe the requested information (e.g. with sarcasm). • Weight: 46g
