• The VoxiVision is a reading aid that is easy to carry. It consists of a compact reading aid (shape and appearance of a smartphone) and a folding tripod made of wood and metal. There is also a wireless microphone for giving spoken commands.
• This reading device for the visually impaired and blind combines magnification, text recognition, barcode scanning and banknote recognition with AI technology.
• There are two usage modes: simple and normal.
• The simple mode is for people with limited experience with electronic aids: reading machine and translator, barcode reader and personalized label reader and electronic magnifying glass.
• The normal mode is for those who want and can use the extensive functions: saving text, translating and intelligent reading, reading multiple pages, more complete information for barcodes and access to medicines, support for USB sticks and wireless streaming to an external screen. • With the fold-out tripod, the VoxiVision can be used hands-free as a reading device. By simply placing an A4 document under the camera, a photo is automatically taken and the text is read out.
• With hand gesture recognition, the device can be paused, a passage replayed or a text saved.
• The VoxiVision is also voice-controlled. You can navigate through the menu with simple voice commands.
• Text in columns is recognised, making bank statements easier to understand.
• The VoxiVision automatically detects the language of texts and offers advanced functions such as translation into ten languages, intelligent detection of specific information (telephone numbers, e-mails, addresses), the ability to spell, management of multi-page documents and a gallery to consult files on the internal memory or on a USB stick.
• With a Wi-Fi internet connection, AI intelligence is added to the VoxiVision and the following functions become possible:
- describe the environment: take a photo of the environment and it will tell you in detail or concisely what is on the image
- summarize a document
- answer a question about your environment or a document
- recognize colors: the VoxiVision recognizes all basic colors by taking a photo of the object
- read handwriting: handwritten text is detected by the VoxiVision and converted into speech
• Included: a foldable tripod, a storage bag, 50 labels, a Bluetooth remote control and a power adapter/charger.
