Description
The purpose of this report is to investigate the characteristics of various assistive technology tools.
By utilizing an economic model, the study shows how using these tools are more cost effective then not
using them. The model analyzes factors of cost and the reasons a patient would economically benefit from the use of assistive technology tools. The study also analyzes the cost effectiveness of each individual tool and explains why an economic itemization of each type of tool is necessary when considering the efficacy of assistive technology tools.
