Description:
NEUROvitalis is a scientifically based neuropsychological group training program for promoting mental performance. The program can also be used in individual therapy with slight modifications. The complete package includes the exercise folder, the category memory game (promotes memory and linguistic concept formation), lateral thinking (promotes attentiveness and concentration) and the city planning game (promotes spatial thinking and planning skills).
NEUROvitalis is aimed at therapists and group leaders who wish to offer a well-structured, comprehensive 12-step program for older people who want to preventively counteract age-related cognitive performance decline. Due to its two-stage structure, it is also suitable for patients suffering from mild cognitive disorders who want to stabilise their mental performance. For use in clinics, medical practices and senior citizen facilities, it offers effective and varied training with its implementation instructions for the exercise instructor, the function-specific group and individual exercises and the psychoeducational elements. The graphics, work materials and individual exercises are also available on the enclosed data carrier for presentation purposes and for printing. Literature references to deepen the topics as well as to the effectiveness studies can be found in the appendix.
