Description:
The META Flow combines the advantages of the META Unibody with the features of a dynamic ankle joint. The screwless META carbon spring allows for particularly harmonious rolling behavior. The ankle joint does not require hydraulics, resulting in a robust, low-maintenance design. The mobility is achieved by kinematically linking dynamic carbon elements. Due to this design, not only is the natural ankle movement implemented, but dynamic support is also provided in the middle stance phase when walking.
Dynamic rolling behavior is also supported. The ankle mobility allows a natural gait on different surfaces. The active dorsiflexion of this ankle joint, which lifts the toe of the foot in the swing phase, is particularly effective in reducing the risk of falling. The entire carbon spring of the foot is laminated in one piece so that no screw connection is required between the heel and forefoot spring. Due to this construction, without interrupting the power flow in the foot, an energy return of approx. 95 percent is achieved. The special foot cosmetic of the META Flow is equipped with a separate big toe so that sandals with a center bridge can also be worn.
