Description:
Tactile orientation aids make it easier for blind and visually impaired people to find their way around roads and public buildings. Panels with a grooved or studded structure are used as attention fields, guide strips or protective strips, e.g. at bus stops, crossings or level changes. They must stand out clearly from the floor covering and be tactile with a long cane or feet.
For better demarcation, accompanying strips with a smooth, high-contrast surface should be laid next to the guidance systems. These make it easier to distinguish them from the rest of the road surface.
The adhesive plates are made of thermoplastic and are acoustically perceptible. Thanks to the primer, they can be applied to various substrates such as slabs, concrete or stone. A high color and luminance contrast also improves visibility for visually impaired people.
