Description:
Axial misalignments are possible triggers of joint complaints such as osteoarthritis of the knee. The knee joint of patients with a varus malalignment has the appearance of an O-leg. The inside of the knee usually hurts. With a valgus deformity due to a knock-knee, the outside of the knee can hurt. With the M.4s OA comfort knee orthosis, varus and valgus relief can be easily and individually adjusted. The mechanism is based on natural joint movements. Experts therefore also refer to it as a varus and valgus relieving orthosis.
Thanks to the 3-point relief principle, the knee orthosis keeps the joint in the correct axis so that pressure on the painful side of the joint is reduced. Patients benefit from noticeable pain relief. The M.4s OA comfort also includes a comprehensive padding set for individual adaptations to the knee. Double-layer condylar pad covers can reduce friction points on the skin thanks to the easy sliding between the two layers of material. At the same time, the knee orthosis offers an improved fit thanks to the movable thigh clamp.
