Ortopad eye plasters have been specially developed for occlusion therapy in children. According to the manufacturer, they have excellent adhesive properties and skin compatibility and are therefore easy to remove.
When children or babies squint, for example, ophthalmologists often recommend temporarily masking an eye with a special eye occlusion plaster in collaboration with an orthoptist. This allows vision to be trained in a targeted manner. Ortopad eye patches are suitable for this purpose. They are made of a skin-friendly non-woven fabric, are latex-free and adapt to the shape of the child's face thanks to their anatomical shape with nasal slits. The special hot-melt adhesive is hypoallergenic.
