Description:
The materials compiled here are used to test the word form comprehension of aphasic patients. The aim is to assess deficits in the processing of lexical forms in the auditory modality according to type and severity. The test requires the patient to match heard words to objects, whereby each target word in a selection of three object images must be identified by pointing (multiple choice). The word forms matching the three object images are phonologically similar, making it difficult to correctly identify the target word. A qualitative evaluation of individual parts of the test enables further differential diagnostic questions to be clarified. The logogenic model forms the theoretical frame of reference.
