Description:
GazeQuest VR supports patients with visual field defects, e.g., due to retinitis pigmentosa or glaucoma, in visual rehabilitation. The software uses playful, eye-tracking-based training tasks to improve eye movements, compensate for visual field defects, and enhance visual performance in everyday life. GazeQuest can be used independently at home and allows for continuous self-monitoring of training progress. Furthermore, interested parties can understand the challenges of visual field defects through simulations.
GazeQuest is still under development. A public test version is planned for 2026.
