• The Mantis Q40 is a 40-cell braille display with a wireless (bluetooth) laptop-like qwerty keyboard.
• Up to five bluetooth connections can be made, together with a USB cable connection.
• The Mantis Q40 can be paired with the screen reader (Jaws 18 and more recent, SuperNova, NVDA, VoiceOver and TalkBack) of the laptop, tablet or smartphone.
• Built-in applications are: editor (simple word processor), clock with alarm function and calculator.
• Thanks to the built-in applications, the Mantis Q40 can be used as a notepad on the go; pairing with a laptop, tablet or smartphone is not necessary for this.
• The built-in rechargeable battery is user-replaceable and has an autonomy of 20 hours.
• The built-in memory is 16 GB and there is a slot for an additional SD memory card available. • There are 250 Braille tables on board for different languages.
• The available system languages are: English, French, Dutch, German, Spanish, Italian, Slovenian, Swedish, Norwegian, Czech and Portuguese.
