Description:
During reinforcement work, iron tying work occurs that is carried out in a deeply stooped, forced body posture and by hand. This often results in complaints in the lumbar spine and hand-arm system.
Reinforcement tying equipment has been developed to facilitate iron tying work. The length of the presented tying devices is approx. 70 cm Thus, the advantage compared to the braiding tongs is the extensive avoidance of the forward bending of the upper body even during braiding work on the floor below foot level. The hand force to be applied is lower with these devices, so that finger joints, wrists and elbow joints are relieved. All apparatuses are handy and easy to transport.
The use of the binding apparatus does not require any special training. Due to the short tying time, it can be assumed that the use of tying apparatus will increase the performance level.
Reinforcement tying devices are subsidized by BG BAU as part of the occupational health and safety bonus.
