Description:
The Sound Shirt of the Junge Symphoniker Hamburg translates sounds into the finest vibrations, making it possible for deaf people to experience classical music for the first time. Microphones on stage capture the sound of the different instruments. Software converts the sounds into data and sends them wirelessly to the Sound Shirt. Sewn into it are 16 vibrating fine motors and LEDs that react to match the intensity of the music. A symphonic concert can thus also be experienced by the deaf.
