Description:
Eye-pass helps to understand the indoor and outdoor environment with a new sound-based technology.
The device works without a camera and without artificial intelligence - instead, a high-quality LiDAR sensor continuously provides distance information, converted into sound in real time.
Weighing only around 60 grams and using deliberately simple technology, eye-pass aims to enable a particularly direct, latency-free perception of obstacles, but also to improve orientation in the room. Headphones are optional and a small loudspeaker is also integrated.
