Cold compress for the head
Description:
The cold compress for the head is used to prevent hair loss during chemotherapy for malignant tumors. It is attached with a Velcro fastener. A cover to cover the ice cap prevents heating from the outside. The ice cap must be brought to a treatment temperature of - 13 degrees C by placing it in an adjustable cooling compartment for several hours. It is put on five minutes before the injection and should remain on for 45 minutes afterwards.
