Beskrivelse
The WHO APL (which stands for "World Health Organization Assistive Products List") includes 50 categories of assistive products that are considered "priority" or "essential" by the Worls Health Organization (WHO): those products that are highly needed, an absolute necessity to maintain or improve an individual’s functioning and which need to be available at a price the community/state can afford. The List has been adopted by the WHO Assembly on May 24, 2016, and will be probably updated in the future.

- Hjælpemidler til håndtering af kommunikation og information (ISO 22)
- Hjælpemidler til at betjene, bære, flytte og håndtere genstande og udstyr (ISO 24)
- Hjælpemidler til styring, tilpasning eller måling af elementer i de fysiske omgivelser (ISO 27)
- Hjælpemidler til beskæftigelse og deltagelse i arbejde (ISO 28)
- Hjælpemidler til fritidsaktiviteter (ISO 30)
