Description:
Lympha Press devices are therapy devices for intermittent pneumatic compression, or IPC for short. They enable effective and gentle treatment of lymphoedema, lipoedema and traumatic oedema, venous congestion and ulcers. They can also be used to prevent thrombosis.
In justified cases, intermittent compression devices can be prescribed by a doctor as a home therapy device. It is a recognized assistive product that is made available to the patient for life by the health insurance companies after application.
The devices are 12-chamber systems that generate a continuously adjustable pressure intermittently and sequentially in arm, boot and hip cuffs as well as in trouser cuffs. The pressure can be adjusted between 20 and 80 mmHg, and up to 180 mmHg for clinical devices.The cuffs available for Lympha Press are available in over 40 different sizes, each of which can be adjusted to three different sizes.
