Description:
CAREcules is a modular transport robot that follows people around in their housekeeping carrying everyday objects. The user is given a transmitter that they can put in their trouser pocket or attach to their crutch, for example. The sensors enable the robot to follow the user at a set distance and avoid collisions with furniture or people. The CAREcules can also be used as an electrically height-adjustable table with a fixed stand.
